Vesuvius and Hell’s Valley

This trek will introduce us to a fantastic place, unique in the world, the complex of Monte Somma or Vesuvius and Hell’s Valley as it is known throughout the world.
Yes, we will walk on the edge of the immense summit crater of the most famous and perhaps most dangerous volcano in the world.
Accompanied by the talented Volcanological Guides of Vesuvius, we will observe the vastness of the crater of the Gran Cono, and we will listen to the history and anecdotes of this not too good giant, also from the summit located at 1280 meters above sea level, we will have the opportunity to admire the panorama that surrounds us,
admiring the city of Naples lying on the seashore, the Campana Plain with all the vesuvian villages, the whole mountain massif of the Lattari Mountains, but the pride of this beautiful panorama is certainly the Gulf of Naples with its splendid islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida in plain sight right in front of us.
Once the visit of the crater is over (admission fee), we resume the downhill path that will take us to the Path to the Valle dell’Inferno, where our trekking to discover Vesuvius will continue, between brooms and asphodels in a lunar landscape, we will travel the via Matrone that takes us straight to the Valle dell’Inferno where we will have our lunch break, after which we will take a path that will lead us back to the starting point.
