A 5-day trek that will let you discover the real wild soul of Cilento

“Discover Wild Cilento”  a multi-day trek that will introduce us to an uncontaminated and little-known land, but inhabited since prehistory times.
5 days, 5 paths, 5 different experiences to live at 360°: we will walk paths that will give us unique views of poignant beauty, from the coast of Palinuro, with the Path of the Towers and Fortresses, to that of Marina di Camerota with the Walk of the 4 Beaches; we will know the wild Coast of the Masseta and we will dive into the green waters of the Infreschi Bay, a real paradise on earth; finally we will reach the highest peak in Campania, Monte Cervati, at 1899 meters above sea level, to live a unique experience.
In the evening we will have an included dinner with typical Cilento produce in front of the crackling fireplace of the beautiful and hospitable refuge. Accompanied by an expert guide, we will learn the stories and anecdotes of the places, and learn more about the Mediterranean diet, that was born here.

Our Program

In the morning pick-up at Naples Airport, Naples or Salerno Train Station or your hotel and drive to Marina di Camerota (2 hours) and check-in. Free time to relax. At 6pm you will have a briefing with your guide to go through the itinerary. Included group dinner. Included Meal: Dinner
After breakfast short transfer to Palinuro. This easy hike will take us to the Capo Palinuro promontory from where we will have a beautiful view of the whole coast and the opportunity to see the Great Lighthouse on the top of the promontory. We will return to the starting point with a circular path through a beautiful pine forest. Included Meals: Breakfast, Boxed Lunch, Dinner.
After breakfast we have a short transfer to the starting point of today’s hike. Marina di Camerota where we will go on a trail that will introduce us to the whole coast, It will be a gentle walk on the low cliffs of this stretch of coast, we will admire the 4 major beaches of Marina di Camerota, where you can have the chance to swimm. The path takes us, then, to the town center where you’ll have free time, before walking back to our guesthouse and relax before dinner. Included Meals: Breakfast, Boxed Lunch, Dinner.
Today we will discover another wonderful place in Cilento, we are still talking about a protected area "La Costa della Masseta". With a beautiful downhill path, from San Giovanni a Piro it will take us to the fishing village of Scario, in the Gulf of Policastro. This place is famous for the spectacular view called the panorama of the 4 regions, because from here we have the extraordinary possibility of seeing 4 regions in a single glance, Campania, Basilicata, Calabria and on clear days you can admire the island of Stromboli in Sicily.
This morning after breakfast we walk down to town, to start our beautiful itinerary that will take us to one of the most beautiful places of Cilento, the Infreschi Bay, a Protected Marine Reserve, a natural harbour on a stretch of coast totally untouched by human being. It starts from Marina di Camerota passing through the magnificent beaches of Pozzallo and Cala Bianca, the latter in 2017 awarded the title of the most beautiful beach in Italy. Between carob, myrtle, mistletoe and beautiful broom plants, the path takes us to the last destination of this fantastic journey, the beach of Porto Infreschi with its emerald waters, a veritable paradise on earth. The return will be by boat with a beautiful ride along the wild coast to the port of Marina di Camerota where we will have our bus waiting for us to take us back to Salerno. Included Meals: Breakfast, Boxed Lunch
